3rd World Firefighters Games; Perth, Australia
20 to 26 March 1994
Nestled on the foreshore of the Swan River with the participants' hotels as a backdrop, a huge 100m x 50m hospitality marquee formed the nucleus of the Perth Games. Following the day's events, the majority of athletes and visitors congregated in the marquee to socialise and celebrate with the winners or empathise with the losers. At the conclusion of the Games, it proved difficult to bid everyone farewell.
